Deadline for STEM Leadership Academy Applications Approaches

Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) 2021 Exelon STEM Leadership Academy will accept applications until Apr. 25 for young women in grades 10 and 11. 

It is a weeklong hybrid event located at the University of Maryland. The leadership academy will take place Aug. 1 through Aug. 6.

Young women will be able learn more about the energy industry while engaging with women leaders from across the region. Participants will receive hands-on material during the academy along with an iPad and a T-shirt. Wifi hotspots are offered to students with limited access to the internet.
