Dawson’s Market in Rockville to Close At The End of October
After six years in the Rockville community, Dawson’s Market in Rockville Town Square will close its doors on Oct. 27.
“This was an extremely difficult decision to make,” the store’s owner Rick Hood said in a statement on the store’s website. “The Rockville community welcomed Dawson’s Market with open arms in 2012 and has supported our mission since we first opened our doors.”
The 62 employees that will be impacted by the closing were informed Tuesday morning and offered job search assistance, according to Hood.
With heavy hearts, we announce today that we’re officially closing October 27th. Big thanks, Rockville, for such an awesome ride! https://t.co/0lAHCbc7t8 pic.twitter.com/welUB7zHwW
