County Volunteer Center Kicks-Off Annual Community Service Week

The Montgomery County Volunteer Center is celebrating 29 years of hosting its annual community service week, which starts today.  Local residents are invited to give a few hours of their time during the Community Service Week that runs from now until October 25th.

Volunteer Center Director Molly Callaway says that Montgomery County’s service week was one of the first in the nation. If you would like to sign-up for a volunteer activity, visit MontgomeryServes.org or call 240.777.2608. The site has 35 different events to choose from.
