County to Hold Virtual Forum on Public Safety Thursday

A virtual community forum on Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. on Reimagining Public Safety in Montgomery County is the next step for the County’s Reimagining Public Safety Initiative.

Results of a recent survey on what residents think about the Montgomery County Police Department, its structure, services and funding will be presented during the meeting, which is being hosted by County Executive Marc Elrich.

The virtual forum will be held via Zoom. To participate, you may register in advance.

The forum will be shown live on the county’s Facebook page, County Cable Montgomery and at Comcast and RCN Channel 6 and HD Channel 996 or Verizon Channel 30.
