County Recognizes Mary Hawkins-Jones (Photo)

Mary Hawkins-Jones, a fifth grade teacher at Westover Elementary School in Silver Spring, told the Montgomery County Council about some of her experiences as she was honored May 6 after being named this year’s Montgomery County recipient of the prestigious “Agnes Meyer Outstanding Teacher Award” by The Washington Post.
