Most Hopeful Teacher in America Award (Video)

Mary Hawkins-Jones, fifth-grade at Westover Elementary School in Silver Spring, was recently named the Most Hopeful Teacher in America. She received the award at the Gallup World Headquarters as educational leaders gathered to discuss the importance of hope in education. Mary Hawkins-Jones shared stories of how she brings hope to the classroom and joined a panel do discuss best teaching practices to create a “high hope school.” Take a look.
