County Health Officials Continue to Stress Importance of Face Coverings
The county has entered Phase 2 re-opening and local health officials are reminding residents about the importance of wearing face coverings. According to the CDC, a face covering is any paper or cloth (like a bandana or scarf) that is well-secured and covers your nose and mouth.
Montgomery County released a Health Directive that emphasizes where face coverings should be worn: in both indoor and outdoor spaces where six-foot physical distancing is challenging to maintain. Children over the age of two are also required to wear a face covering.
