County Executive Democratic Candidates Debate (Video)

The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce and Bethesda magazine hosted a candidates debate at the Bethesda Hyatt Regency on March 7 for the three democrats running for the office of Montgomery County executive.

The democratic candidates in this race include Phil Andrews, Doug Duncan and Isiah Leggett.

Reporter Louis Peck of Bethesda magazine served as the debate’s moderator.

After introductions were made and the rules were explained, the debate began with the candidates opening statements. The candidates picked straws to see who would deliver their opening statement first.
