County Council Commemorates Hispanic Heritage Month (VIDEO)

The Montgomery County Council celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by hosting a conversation with Latino leaders on Sept. 29 to talk about social justice issues that still affects the community.

Each year Americans observe Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15. Latino leaders talked about inclusion, diversity in the workforce, the use of minority-owned contractors, education, and parental engagement.
