County Board of Education Plans Conversation on Virtual Learning
The Montgomery County Public Schools Board of Education’s Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Committee is inviting community members to share their thoughts on virtual learning.
The virtual meeting is set for Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. Questions need to be submitted before the meeting. To listen to the conversation by phone, dial +1-202-860-2110 Access Code: 171 287 7164.
The 90-minute meeting is expected to feature Derek Turner, chief of engagement, innovation and operations; Janet Wilson, chief of Teaching, Learning and Schools; Essie McGuire, associate superintendent, Office of Operations; Peter Cevenini, associate superintendent, Office of Technology and Innovation; Kevin Lowndes, associate superintendent, Office of Special Education; Jeffrey Sullivan, director, systemwide athletics, Office of Teaching, Learning and Schools; and Everett Davis, director, student, family and school services, Office of Student and Family Support and Engagement.
