Council President Hucker: ‘We Have Decades Worth of Aging and At-Risk Infrastructure’
Montgomery County leaders urge the need for more infrastructure spending. Council President Tom Hucker says there are decades worth of aging and at-risk infrastructure not only locally but throughout the state and beyond.
“It’s an issue that affects the entire nation. We’ve seen in the last few days just how devastating the consequences can be,” added Hucker during his weekly virtual media briefing on Monday.
Hucker further explains how the Federal Infrastructure Bill will help tackle the issue.
Council President Hucker also mentioned the need for greater infrastructure spending.
"It's an issue that affects the entire nation. We've seen in the last few days just how the consequences can be when infrastructure problems are overlooked," said Hucker. @mymcmedia— Jordan Lindsay (@TVJordanLindsay) June 28, 2021
