Congressman Visits Newport Mill Middle School (Video)
Newport Mill Middle School students recently wrote to U.S Congressman Chris Van Hollen with concerns about the nutritional values of their meal plans. Instead of just writing back, Van Hollen decided to visit the school in order to praise students for their efforts to eat healthier. Take a look at this video report.
Thank you to Congressman Chris Van Hollen for visiting Newport Mill Middle School in answer to their school nutrition. Nutrition is an important subject for all of us. The students appeared to feel awed and grateful to receive an answer to their observations and concerns. All political motivations aside, thoughtful caring works and I am all for it!
