UPDATE: Police Say Wheaton Man Found Safe, Unharmed

Update, 2:45 p.m. Tuesday: Police announced Herbert Wilbanks had been located safe and unharmed.


Original post: The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Wheaton area man who has dementia.  

70-year-old Herbert Wilbanks was last seen leaving Medstar Montgomery Medical Center located at 18101 Prince Philip Drive in Olney on July 24 at 4:00 a.m.

Wilbanks is described as a black male who is approximately 5’8″ tall, weighs approximately 120 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information regarding Herbert Wilbanks’ whereabouts or anyone who sees him is asked to call the Montgomery County Department of Police at 301-279-8000.
