Competitive Robotics Team Promotes FIRST Program

These are the helix hackers!

“We do First Lego League which is one of the components of [FIRST] which is For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology,” said Helix Hackers member, Prithvi Ram.

The team designs, builds, and programs what they call a Lego Mindstorm Robot to compete at the regional, state, and world levels.

Their passion doesn’t stop here. They also mentor local teams and help promote the “FIRST” program at local schools in hopes of creating awareness about robotics and all it has to offer.
