Community Ministries Recognized (Photos)

Community Ministries of Rockville (CMR), a Rockvile based nonprofit that has served those in need and Rockville and Montgomery County since 1981, was recently recognized by the Montgomery County Council. During the ceremony celebrating 45 years of service, Executive Director Agnes Saenz explained that the organization has served more than 59,600 individuals as a cooperative effort with the County. Community Ministries of Rockville has programs that include housing, emergency assistance, healthcare, education and senior services. Councilmember Nancy Floreen presented a proclamation on behalf of the Council.
