Coming Soon to Potomac: O’Donnell’s Market (PHOTOS)
Good news for fans of O’Donnell’s Sea Grill. The owner of the popular restaurant, known for its Maryland crabcakes and rum buns, is opening a new market in Potomac this fall.
It’s been over two years now since O’Donnell’s Sea Grill closed its doors in the Kentlands community.
“In 2013, we sadly ended one chapter in our book with the closing of our beloved restaurant,” writes Bill Edelblut on the market’s new website. “However, true to our roots, the O’Donnell’s family are a tenacious bunch. We’re proud to announce that we’re picking up where we left off – but with a twist. I am bringing a fresh concept to the D.C. Metro region: O’Donnell’s Market.”
The new market will open this fall at 1073 Seven Locks Road and, according to its website, will include fresh seafood and meat, prepared dishes, grab-and-go salads and sandwiches, a bakery, beer and wine on premises, catering and more.
You can find more information about the market, and its rich family history, on its Facebook and Twitter pages and on its website here.
