Cold Case Composite (Photo)

The Cold Case Unit of the Montgomery County Police Department has released a composite drawing of a man suspected in sexual assaults that occurred in the mid-1970′s in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, including Wheaton, Silver Spring and Takoma Park.

As part of the investigation that began in the 1970′s, detectives spoke to a witness who described a still-unidentified male subject that was seen in the area of where one of the incidents occurred in Wheaton. A composite of this subject was created from the witness description over 35 years ago.

Detectives say there may be additional victims of the subject depicted in the composite and hope that these victims come forward and assist in identifying the subject and help in tracking his whereabouts in the 1970s.

The man was described (in the mid-1970s) as a white male, in his late teens or early-20′s, 5’11″ tall, and weighing approximately 140 pounds. He was described as having acne scars on the left side of his face.
