Chris Van Hollen Greets Voters Across the Region on Election Day (PHOTO & VIDEO)
Congressman Chris Van Hollen is off to an early start in a final push to connect with voters on Election Day. He is seeking their support for his bid to replace retiring Democrat Barbara Mikulski as the next Senator from Maryland.
Van Hollen made his first stop in Kensington where he cast his vote at Temple Emanuel. He then traveled to Leisure World in Silver Spring to greet supporters and listen to the concerns of voters.
The congressman will travel to Baltimore, Randallstown, Greenbelt and College Park before reaching his last stop for the day at 8 p.m. Van Hollen will join other Maryland Democrats for the election night event being held at Tommy Douglas Conference Center (Old National Labor College) in Silver Spring.
