UPDATED: Car Crashes into Tree in Germantown (PHOTO)
UPDATED Montgomery County fire and rescue crews responded to a serious car accident at Scenery Drive and Germantown Road on Sunday evening.
Fire and Rescue Services Spokesperson Pete Piringer reported on his Twitter account that the driver was trapped inside a vehicle that struck a tree.
According to Piringer, the 28-year-old man was extricated from the wreckage and was transported to a local hospital as a priority one patient. Piringer said a medical helicopter was called to the scene but not utilized for transport.

The 28 year old victim was extricated and transported by MCFRS medic unit to the closest hospital, The helicopter was called for but not utilized.
The car was pulverized by the tree. I saw the firemen block the road for the ambulance. I waited until the road wasn’t blocked to go around. They did amazing job releasing man from car. I hope he made it ok.
