Candidate Ferleman Talks About Rolling Back Property, Recordation Taxes
Tom Ferleman, the Germantown Republican who has filed for the District 2 County Council seat, criticized the council Monday for the hefty increases to the property and recordation taxes passed last year.
“Who does that? That’s counter to caring for people,” Ferleman said. “When people are struggling to make ends meet, the last thing you want to do is take more money from them.”
