Brock Zeman Rocks the Arts Barn

Canadian musician, BROCK ZEMAN, opens the highly anticipated second season of the Singer Songwriter Concert Series at the Arts Barn in Gaithersburg on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 7:30 p.m..  Zeman is the guest artist at the Singer Songwriter Workshop at 3PM on Saturday. The workshop is a signature feature of this series and offers fans insight into each artist’s unique approach to songwriting.

Called an “emerging powerhouse,” Zeman has hundreds of performances to his credit, nine albums, and his own record label, Mud Records. A master songwriter, Zeman has a rare talent for lyrics and a compelling voice to deliver them.  Exclaim! magazine says Zeman “is a songwriter worth hearing over and over again,” CKUA hails Zeman’s work as “intelligent, tuneful, heart-felt songs served up with an authentic but understated style” and the KW Record says that “Zeman doesn’t surrender an inch to any Texas singer/songwriter you care to name.”  Washington, D.C. native, Owen Danoff opens the concert at 7:30PM. Tickets can be purchased by calling 301.258.6394 or at the door. Admission for each concert is $23 for City of Gaithersburg residents/ $25 for non-residents. Admission for each concert and workshop combined is $43 for City of Gaithersburg residents/ $45 for non-residents. Attendees are invited to come early and enjoy the Arts Barn Patrons Lounge. Open one hour before each concert, the lounge offers bistro seating, mood-setting music and refreshments, including beer and wine.
