Police Identify Body Found near Gaithersburg

Update, Friday: Montgomery County police have identified the dead man as Dammeon Terrell Powell, 34, of the 18300 block Streamside Drive in Gaithersburg.
Police are awaiting the results of an autopsy performed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore.
A police statement says he might have been struck by an automobile.
Original post: Montgomery County police say they found the body of a man Tuesday morning alongside a road outside Gaithersburg.
A police statement says the body was found about 8:43 a.m. near Cherry Laurel Lane and Coriander Drive.
Detectives are investigating the death as suspicious. The circumstances surrounding the deceased adult male are currently unknown. This is an ongoing investigation. As information is confirmed it will be released to the public.
