Bobbitt Recognized by County Council
Michael Bobbitt, former artistic director at the Adventure Theatre, was recognized by the Montgomery County Council in a ceremony this morning. Bobbitt, an award-winning director, choreographer, and playwright left his mark on the Glen Echo-based theater group for 12 years producing creative re-imaginings of existing plays and presenting original productions.
Bobbitt was named Artistic Director of the New Repertory Theatre in Watertown, Ma in the spring. His first official day on the job will be August 1.
