Blood Drive Set for Aug. 10 at Montgomery County’s Public Safety Headquarters

The American Red Cross is facing a critical blood shortage, and donors are needed now.

On Aug. 10th, the Montgomery County Police Department is hosting a blood drive from 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the first floor conference room at Public Safety Headquarters, 100 Edison Park Drive, Gaithersburg.

Donors are encouraged to sign up online or call to schedule an appointment at 1.800.733.2767.

Walk-in donors will be accommodated.

All donors will receive a Red Cross t-shirt and the following promotions:

• Coupon from Dunkin Donuts for a free, medium iced coffee and doughnut.
• Mini cupcakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes.
• A $5 Amazon gift card claim code will be sent to donors with a valid email address when they schedule their appointment online.
