Blonde Bombers Have a Date Friday Night

Northwest High School Baseball clinched the 4A state regional championship with their 4-1 win against Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders Wednesday afternoon at the Shirley Povich Field in Bethesda.

The Northwest team keeps on winning and it might have to do with their hair style. The #BlondeBombers flashed smiles and lots of pitching wizardry to advance to the MPSSAA state championship game Friday night at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen. Their 4-1 win over the Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders was a little bit shut down pitching, hustle baseball running and good old fashion power hitting. By the end of 7th inning their caps were off and many team members are sporting hairstyles with blonde highlights which only adds to this season of magic.

Next up for the #BlondeBombers is the state championship game at 7:30 p.m.

Good Luck to Northwest as they take on Howard in the MPSSAA State Finals.
