July “Recompose” Exhibit at BlackRock Features Works by Maryland Artists
Recompose, an exhibition featuring four Maryland artists: Elizabeth Burger, Eric Celarier, William Peirce, and Karen Schulz, will be featured in an exhibition at the BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown during the month of July.
The meet the artists reception is scheduled for July 11 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. followed by a free summer outdoor concert by Matuto- a group that mixes sounds from Brazil’s folkloric rhythms like forró, maracatu and Louisiana jams.
According to a news release, the artists created their work using materials such as circuit boards, electronic waste, electronic waste, hand-dyed cloth and others.
