Black History Month: MCPS Board of Education Voting Majority Makes History

For the first time, five of the eight MCPS Board of Education members are African American. MyMCMedia’s Jordan Lindsay has more details on what motivated each of them to serve as a voice for all students.

With more than 165 thousand students across 208 schools, the entire board is passionate about the work they do for the diverse student body.
