Bethesda Man Dies in Motorcycle Collision Thursday
Police are investigating a fatal collision involving a motorcycle that occurred Thursday evening in Bethesda.
According to a statement from Montgomery County Police Department, Bethesda district police officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel were dispatched to River Road (MD 190) at Burdette Road at 10:08 p.m. responding to reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle.
Collision Reconstruction Unit investigating fatal collision involving motorcycle & vehicle: River Rd & Burdette Rd, Bethesda. Motorcyclist succumbed to injuries. Intersection closed to traffic. Call received approx. 10:08 p.m. Will update when add'l info. is confirmed.

Police say a man driving a 2014 Toyota Rav4 was traveling East on River Road and when he attempted to make a left turn onto Burdette Road, his vehicle collided with a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist died at the scene, police say. Police identified the motorcyclist as 32-year-old Scott Emerson Hess 0f Bethesda. The driver of the Rav4 was not injured, police say.
