AutBuddy Accolades (PHOTOS & VIDEO)
Six students from three Montgomery middle schools got together through the Adventures in Science organization and ending up designing the app “AutBuddy,” which will help children with autism complete their schoolwork and daily tasks by utilizing customized rewards to help them stay focused.
Their app won the “Best in State Award” in the Verizon Innovative App Challenge and went on to win national recognition.
On March 1, the students were recognized by the Montgomery County Council for their achievements. At the ceremonies: Raiyan Rizwan, Madhuri Kola, Councilmember Craig Rice, Neha Chandra, Eashana Subramanian, Ojas Jagtap and Saahith Tupakula.
