Another Director Departs Montgomery County
Human Resources Director Joseph Adler is no longer working at Montgomery County government.
That’s the word from County Spokesperson Patrick Lacefield who confirmed that Adler left on Tuesday. According to salary information posted on the county’s website, Adler was making over $203,000 as the director of human resources. Adler served as the director of human resources for 12 years.
As for the reason for the departure, Lacefield said the county executive wanted to move in another direction.
Adler’s exit follows the recent departure of several other high ranking county officials, including Economic Development Director Steve Silverman, Fire Chief Steve Lohr, Economic Protection Director Bob Hoyt, Housing and Community Affairs Director Richard Nelson and Transportation Director Art Holmes.
According to Lacefield, Corrections Director Art Wallenstein is also expected to step down in March.
