Andrews, Rice Host Community Meeting on Oct. 2

Montgomery County Councilmembers Phil Andrews (Montgomery District 3) and Craig Rice (District 2) will host a meeting with community members on Oct. 2 at Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg.

The meeting for the North Potomac community in the cafeteria of Quince Orchard High School will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. The school is located at 15800 Quince Orchard Road in Gaithersburg.

“I look forward to hearing directly from constituents as to what their concerns and issues are and to assisting in solving problems,” said Councilmember Andrews.

On Oct. 16, Councilmember Rice, whose district includes most of the upcounty, will host a meeting for the Germantown community from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Room A of the Upcounty Regional Center. The Regional Center is located at 12900 Middlebrook Road in Germantown.

“Both of these communities have similar interests, but they also have issues that are unique to them,” said Council Vice President Rice. “Educational opportunities for their children and how encroaching development will impact already crowded roads are two key issues they share. We will be ready to hear questions from all who attend and we will come prepared to talk about things that are in the works that may help.”
