Montgomery Community Media Wins 4 Emmy Awards

Montgomery Community Media (MCM) won four Emmys at the 63rd annual Capital Emmy Awards Saturday night during a virtual ceremony. MCM won two Emmys for its series on Black Artists in Montgomery County and two more for features on teaching during the pandemic and Montgomery County’s recycling center.

MCM was nominated for four other entries including for Overall Excellence and for Community Service.

The winning entries:

  • Magazine Program (Series): Black Artists in Montgomery County
  • Editor: Long Form Content: Black Artists in Montgomery County: Doudgy Charmant
  • News Feature – Light Feature: ¿Qué Se Recicla en el Condado de Montgomery?
  • Education/Schools – Short Form Content: La vida del maestro en tiempos de pandemia
