All Aboard: Trains at Cabin John and Wheaton Now Open

The Cabin John Train and Wheaton Train and Carousel are now open despite wet conditions and the ongoing pandemic.

Although patrons are not able to register for opening day rides anymore, there are still slots for the weekend. Interested community members should book their seats no later than 7 a.m. the day they plan to go.

Both the Cabin John and Wheaton rides charge $2.50 per person. Tickets for Cabin John can be booked online, and Wheaton Train and Carousel tickets can be found using this link.

Montgomery Parks asks those visiting to remember COVID-19 safety and social-distancing precautions.

Last year both ride sites were shut down in August by a Maryland executive order.
