Maryland Ranks Low Among Other States for Vaccine Rollout

The state of Maryland continues to rank low in regards to vaccine distribution in the United States.

According to data presented by NPR on Feb. 24, Maryland currently ranks 41st in regards to the percentage of the population that has received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The state ranks 28th in regards to the percentage of the population that has received both doses. Both statistics include all 50 states as well as the District of Columbia.

To date, the state of Maryland has administered over 1,149,000 COVID-19 vaccinations. Over 900,000 first doses of the vaccine have been distributed as well as 600,000 doses of the second vaccine.
