A missing man. A helpful resident. An uplifting ending. Montgomery County Police Department recently tweeted out a heartwarming photo that captures the story.

A 60-year-old non-verbal autistic man was reported missing in Rockville from Greenspan Lane on Friday shortly after 2:30 p.m. Thanks to a helpful resident, he was found an hour later, authorities say.

Montgomery County Police say an officer was flagged down by a resident who saw the man walking on Twinbrook Parkway near Baltimore Road. Several other residents also helped search for the man before he was found.
