Stop the Violence Event Set for Aug. 24

Stop the Violence, Save the Youth, Unity and the Community will be Aug. 24 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Plumgar Park in Germantown. The event will pay a special tribute to Estelle Martin and will include special guest speaker Councilmember Craig Rice, with guest choir by Chosen Vessel and dance performance by Kaela Pressley.  The event will also have speakers from the county, food, and snacks and face painting.
