Veterans Day Freebies and Deals

Many businesses in Montgomery County are honoring those who have served our county on Veterans Day with deals and freebies. Often, a military ID, dressing in uniform, or other proofs of service is required to access these deals.

Here is a list of places that are offering deals:

Sunday, Nov. 11:

  • Applebee’s is giving out free means from select menues to veterans and active-duty military.
  • Bar Louie is giving gree burgers and flatbreads (up to a $15 value) to veterans and active-duty millitary.
  • Buffalo Wild Wings is giving veterans and active-duty millitary a free side of fries and a free small order of wings (only at participating locations).
  • Chipotle is offering buy one get one free burritos, burrito bowls, tacos, and salards for active millitary and veterans (and their families).
  • Dunkin Donuts is giving out free doughnuts.
  • The Greene Turtle is giving free entrees valued at $12 to veterans and active-duty millitary officers.
  • Starbucks is offering veterans, active-duty officers, and military spouses a free tall hot brewed coffee.

Monday, Nov 12:

  • Red Lobster is giving veterans and active-duty millitary officers free appetizers or free desserts from a select menue. (This deal is also available on Nov. 11)

Additional deals and things to do:

  • Target is taking 10 percent off in-store and online purchases for active-duty officers and veterans from Nov. 4 to Nov. 12.
  • The Newseum is offering free admission Nov. 10-12 for veterans, active-duty members, and one guest.
  • Amtrak is offering military personnel and veterans a 20 percent discount on tickets purchased from Nov. 9-13.
