Heavy Rainfall Expected Ahead of Tuesday’s Afternoon Commute
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook warning for the Washington D.C. area this evening.
According to NWS, commuters can expect severe thunderstorms and damaging wind gusts this evening.
Officials also warn that the heavy rains can lead to flash flooding, and are urging drivers to use caution heading home Tuesday.
