NWS Issues Flash Flood Warning for Montgomery County
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning until 10:30 a.m. for portions of Montgomery County.
According to the warning, heavy rain is falling across the area. Up to two inches have already fallen and more rain is expected. The locations that may experience flooding are Germantown, Rockville, Bethesda, Gaithersburg, Olney, Damascus, Aspen Hill, Potomac, North Bethesda, Montgomery Village, North Potomac, Fairland, and White Oak, according to the NWS.
Remember, turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads.
