Here’s five things to know today, Dec. 15, in Montgomery County:

1. Healthcare Enrollment: Maryland Health Connection has extended the enrollment deadline to next Friday 12/22.

2. Opportunity Grant: The City of Gaithersburg is accepting applications for Nonprofit Opportunity Grants for up to $15,000.

3. Coffee with a Cop: Montgomery County Police Department’s 5th District will host Coffee with a Cop at the Music Cafe located at 26528 Ridge Road in Damascus from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

4. Dementia Symposium: LeadingAge Maryland and LeadingAge DC has teamed up with Ingleside at King Farm for Bridging the Gap– Dementia Symposium 2017: Practical Solutions for Family and Professional Care Partners geared toward family caregivers and professionals.

5. Makeover Montgomery: Presentation proposals are being accepted for Makeover Montgomery 4 Conference next year which will focus on: Competitive, Healthy, Inclusive and Smart Communities.
