1. Government Shutdown: Leaders are expected to pass a one week funding bill to keep the government open.

2. Metro Service: Metrorail officials were preparing for a possible “sick out” today, but, so far, service does not seem to be impacted. For the latest information, check Metro’s website, here.

3. Consumer Alert:  Don’t be scammed! That’s the message from investigators at the Office of Consumer Protection who have released some tips for homeowners who have outdoor, home improvement projects planned this spring.

4. Autism Awareness: The Autism Awareness Glow Walk and Run is today at 6:30 p.m. at the Wheaton Miniature Train and Ovid Hazen Wells Carousel.
