Firefighters Investigate Hyattstown House Fire (PHOTOS & VIDEO)
UPDATED Montgomery County firefighters are investigating what sparked a house fire in Hyattstown.
Fire and Rescue Services Spokesperson Pete Piringer said one person was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to Piringer, the fire occurred on Haines Road after 2 a.m. on Monday. He said damages are estimated at $500,000.
According to Piringer, a smoke alarm alerted the resident of the fire.
