Partial Building Collapse in Wheaton Closes Some Lanes of University Blvd at Veirs Mill Rd (PHOTOS)
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue services are responding to a partial building collapse of the Mattress Warehouse store located at 2704 University Boulevard in Wheaton.
Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer said the building was evacuated and there are no injuries.
At this time, some westbound lanes of University Boulevard at Veirs Mill Road are blocked.

No surprise. I have a clear birds eye view of that building roof and there are always pools of unfiltered water on the ceiling. I wouldnt be surprised if it was water related. Also, i saw multiple maintenance people on roof fixing ac unit recently too. Obviously, this building wasnt in good shape. Shame to building management. Thank god no one was hurt.
