School Bus Camera Enforcement Program Expands in MoCo (VIDEO)

Montgomery County officials gathered for a back-to-school safety news conference outside Lakelands Park Middle School on Friday.

During that news conference, Captain Tom Didone touted the expansion of the school bus camera safety enforcement program, and the importance of motorists to prepare for more traffic once school resumes.

“School buses will be on the road starting Monday,” Didone said. “When you see the bus, stop. If you get behind the bus and you know it makes many, many stops, understand it is just going to take you a little longer. Have that plan to get to work a little bit earlier…remember, the safety of our kids.”
