Seneca Valley Girls Softball Breeze to Early Spring Win (PHOTOS)

Tuesday, April 5th was a sunny and windswept day in Gaithersburg. The Screaming Eagles of Seneca Valley survived a set of jitters and early blunders to defeat the Lady Trojans 14-8. After falling behind 5-3 early in the second inning, Seneca streaked to a 6-5 lead and exchanged numerous ties with Gaithersburg during the middle innings to finally pull ahead by 14-7 by the top of the 7th. The Lady Trojans could only manufacture one more run in the bottom of the 7th.
