• Bethesda Art Walk takes place in downtown from 6 to 9 p.m. Visit artists studios and galleries. The Bethesda Circulator is available for transportation as you explore Downtown Bethesda.
• The Washington School of Photography gallery opens a new exhibit displaying high school student work with a reception from 6 to 9 p.m. in Rockville.
• It’s Pajama Jam Movie Night! Watch “Inside Out” at the Twinbrook Community Center in Rockville beginning at 7:30 p.m.
• Round House Theatre’s production of Father Comes Home From the Wars performance begins at 8 p.m.in Bethesda.

Saturday, February 6

• Montgomery County Restaurant Week wraps up this weekend. Don’t miss this opportunity to try new restaurants.
• The 3rd Annual State of Black Montgomery takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Silver Spring Civic Center
• The Montgomery Preservation is hosting an open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at their headquarters in Silver Spring.
• February is Library Lovers Month. The kickoff event features the Grandsons, Jr. band, door prizes, crafts and more at the Silver Spring Library from 11 a.m. to Noon.
• Visit Germantown Library and BlackRock Center for the Arts to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Enjoy storytime, a craft and the Chinese Lion Dance.
• Families may enjoy this drop-in program to make a Valentine’s Day card at the Gaithersburg Community Museum from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• In honor of Black History Month, Step Afrika! Reads presents an interactive story program at Davis Community Library in Bethesda at 11 a.m. Tickets are needed, a limited number will be given out one hour before the show.
• Round House Theatre’s production of Father Comes Home From the Wars has performances at 2 and 8 p.m.in Bethesda.
• Meet illustrator Elizabeth Zunon at Gaithersburg Library at 2 p.m.
• Film screening of The Winding Stream tells the story of American music dynasty families, the Carters and the Cashes at BalckRock at 4 p.m.
• Enjoy a sci-fi rock concert by Afro House at the Takoma Park Community Center at 7:30 p.m.
• The VI-Kings perform at AMP by Strathmore at 8 p.m.
• The National Philharmonic perform Mozart’s Haffner Symphony at the Music Center at Strathmore at 8 p.m.

Sunday, February 7

• Round House Theatre’s production of Father Comes Home From the Wars matinee performances at 2 p.m.in Bethesda.
• The Li Ming Chinese School performs at the Rockville Library in celebration of the Lunar New Year at 2 p.m.
