1. The Montgomery County Council declared Jan. 13th as Korean-American Day.

2. Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett will join Interim Superintendent Larry Bowers and members of the Board of Education to launch the Library Link program. Today’s event will take place at Harmony Hills Elementary School in Silver Spring at 10 a.m.

3. Fourteen MCPS students have been selected as semifinalists for the 2016 Intel Science Talent Search.

4. The Powerball jackpot now sits at $1.5 billion. So we asked some residents in Gaithersburg what they would do if they won the jackpot tonight.

5. Bethesda Library is hosting Family Movie Night and will be showing “Mr. Popper’s Penguins” at 6:30 p.m.
