UPDATED: Three $1 Million Powerball Tickets Sold in Maryland (VIDEO)

UPDATE The Powerball jackpot climbed up to $1.6 billion and Wednesday night’s drawing resulted in three Maryland locations selling $1 million Powerball tickets respectively.

According to a news release, the winning numbers were: 4, 8, 19, 27, and 34; the Powerball number was 10 and the Power Play multiplier was 2. In Maryland the million dollar winning tickets were bought at locations in Bladensburg, Capitol Heights, and Frederick. One state resident won $100,000, two dozen won $50,000, while thousands of others won additional sums statewide.

The winning jackpot tickets were sold in three states; California , Florida, and Tennessee. The players will share the $1.6 billion jackpot.
