UPDATED: Police Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Collision on Route 355 in Germantown
UPDATED Montgomery County police are investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred on Friday evening in the 19600 block of Route 355, just north of Scenery Drive, in Germantown.
Police have identified the pedestrian as 47-year-old Damien Anthony Denning.
According to police, Denning was struck in the traffic lanes by a Chevrolet Malibu that traveling north on Route 355. Police said Denning was transported to Suburban Hospital where he police said he died from his injuries.
Police said the driver of the Chevrolet was transported to Holy Cross Germantown with non-life-threatening injuries.
