UPDATED: Leventhal Fields Questions at Weekly Briefing (VIDEO)
Montgomery County Council President George Leventhal met with reporters on Monday to discuss several key items that will be facing the County Council and its respective committees in the near future. Leventhal began the discussion with his impressions of the new Silver Spring Library that opened on Saturday. He described it as the nicest library in Montgomery County.
Other topics that he discussed included the Council’s sick leave bill which is on the agenda tomorrow, the Department of Liquor Control, the Silver Spring Transit Center, tow truck legislation, the reorganization of the Department of Economic Development, the Purple Line and more.
